The only 'replacement' that I'm yet to find on a vegan diet just like it used to taste before is cheese. I don't believe this needs to be an issue for anyone though as if you are truly sold on veganism, and you have a clear 'why' for doing it (ethics or health), you should be able to manage temptation. If you do fall off the bandwagon during the festive period (despite your best efforts) and consume animal products, don't be too hard on yourself about it, reflect on what happened, re-assess your 'why' and refocus yourself.
