Finding grantors and writing grant applications to support delivery of your nonprofit organization's mission can be a daunting task! Where to look? Which ones are a good fit? What does the grantor want to see? Do you qualify?
This course covers:
-using grant research database tools - see samples of popular research tools
-figuring out what you need - it is important to know what type of grant ask is realistic for your organization
-identifying grant possibilities for your organization - match your organization's characteristics to specific grantors using search parameters
-tracking and organizing your grant research and applications - whether it is just you or a team working on a grant, it is important to keep all of the elements organized and available.
-writing winning grants and providing supporting documentation
-what do do once you've received a grant - follow up and reporting

This course was designed and is instructed by a Certified Fund Raising Executive and AFP Master Trainer who has written numerous grants that raised hundreds of thousands of dollars in grant awards for a variety of organizations.
