Introduction to design thinking course takes a human-centered approach to growth, business, and problem-solving. As pointed out earlier, understanding the customer is the key, this course outlines methodologies, nuances, and techniques to understand your customer, uncover non-obvious insights from the data collected, use those insights to articulate the right problem, and you will ideate and prototype, test and retest to develop fresh, innovative solutions.

Implementing the design thinking principles and practices you've learned is our top priority. We help you create an action plan for real work projects and provide post-program coaching so you can successfully execute innovation wherever you need it.

Design thinking is a mindset and a framework deeply rooted in understanding your customers.

  • It starts with building customer empathy to identify the right problem to solve

  • Then falling in love with the problem (not the solution), and thinking of many, innovative ways to solve the problem

  • FInally, iterating your idea with real customer feedback, even before you begin executing on your solution

Stage 1 : Discover Preview 14:30

Discover is all about understanding your customer problems and their underlying unmet needs. It's about immersing yourself with curiosity and listening to your customers to internalize and empathize with them.

Dream is about creating new ideas, it helps you to go abroad with a lot of ideas that can possibly solve the problem in new, creative ways.The Dream stage consists of tools and techniques to help you push your thinking. It encourages collaboration, to build on ideas with others.

Stage 4 : Disrupt Preview 13:24

Disrupt is a rigorous process that helps you improve (in industry terms: pivot or persevere) your idea based on actual customer behavior. Here you start with identifying the key assumptions you are making in your solution. The assumptions without which your solution simply will not work. For each assumption, you run rapid experiments to learn.
