Beautiful course. I only played the front 9 (was with a group of beginners, and am a beginner myself). Plenty of challenge for us, but still fairly forgiving. I thought it was well maintained, and a reasonable price. Pretty nice "pro shop" as well. Came here on a vacation and was impressed with the rental clubs (though this could be because my clubs at home are just beginners). Would reccomend this to anyone looking for a nice round while in New Orleans.
The price initially put us off as it was so cheap but then we read the good reviews on golflink. We were very disappointing. The course we thought was poor, patchy and like a wide open field. You cant argue with the price, its just that we had better expectations given its very high 4.5 out of 5 rating here. Plus side staff were nice, but restaurant was closed when we finished.
This is a beautiful, little executive course barely 4 miles from the French Quarter. There is plenty of water, and the course is more difficult than it appears at first glance. Sand traps are in some difficult locations on some of the longer par 3s. The course is well maintained and is in a beautiful setting.
